In 2021, RISE OF KRONOS erupted onto the death metal scene, rising from the ashes of the well-established band Surface. After 11 relentless years of intense touring, three hard-hitting albums and an uncompromising dedication to their craft, Surface reached a turning point. Driven by the urge to evolve and break free from creative boundaries, the band embarked on a transformative journey to push both their music and themselves to the next level. This rebirth was a conscious and carefully considered step. Determined to honor their past while forging a stronger and more focused future, the band adopted the name RISE OF KRONOS - a tribute to their 2015 album and a symbol of transformation, uniting legacy, evolution and defiance under one banner. RISE OF KRONOS stands for a brutal and modern incarnation of death metal, blending the razor-sharp aggression of Swedish death metal with progressive precision and the raw intensity of hardcore. As seasoned musicians, they deliver a sound that is both ferocious and refined - deeply rooted in extreme metal tradition while pushing relentlessly forward.
