Terms of Service

By accessing or using Trixtu ("the Platform", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, event organizers, and service providers.

Trixtu is an online platform that allows users to discover and attend events, create and sell tickets to events, and browse a directory of services aimed at the expatriate community. The Platform is operated as an intermediary and is not responsible for the content, quality, or safety of events or services listed by third parties.

To access certain features you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration.
• Keep your login credentials confidential.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we believe pose a risk to other users or the Platform.

Organizers who create events on Trixtu represent and warrant that:

• The event is real and will take place as described.
• They have all necessary permits, licenses, and authorizations.
• Event descriptions are accurate and not misleading.
• They will process refunds in accordance with their stated refund policy and applicable law.

Trixtu acts as a technology intermediary for ticket sales. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. Organizers must connect a Stripe account to receive payouts. Trixtu may charge a platform fee on ticket sales, which will be disclosed at the time of configuration.

Ticket purchases are processed securely via Stripe. By completing a purchase, you authorize the charge to your payment method. All prices are displayed including applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

Refund policies are set by individual organizers. Trixtu is not responsible for refunds except where required by applicable law or where an event is cancelled by the organizer. In case of disputes, please contact the organizer first, then reach out to us if the issue is not resolved.

Businesses and individuals may submit service listings to the Trixtu directory. All listings are subject to manual review and approval by our moderation team before becoming publicly visible. We reserve the right to reject, remove, or modify any listing that violates these Terms or our content guidelines.

Listing on Trixtu is currently free. We do not endorse or guarantee the quality of any listed services and are not liable for interactions between users and service providers.

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content.
• Impersonate any person or organization.
• Use the Platform to distribute spam, malware, or unsolicited messages.
• Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Platform's operation.
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Platform without our written consent.

All content on the Platform created by Trixtu - including design, code, text, and graphics - is the property of Trixtu and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you submit (event descriptions, images, etc.) but grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute it on the Platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trixtu shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Platform or any event or service listed on it. Our total liability in connection with any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the preceding three months.

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We are not responsible for the actions, content, or information of third-party organizers or service providers.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms. For material changes, we will notify registered users by email.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and the laws of Romania. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Romania, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection provisions applicable in your country of residence.
