Follow in the footsteps of heroes through the city, as we reveal where the Heart of Midlothian Football Club, one of Edinburgh’s oldest institutions, was formed. Discover the hidden gems of Hearts' early history, as our experienced tour guides take us to where the first players kitted up and where Directors met to discuss Club business. Stand with us at the location of the first ever Scottish Cup tie; learn how match results were shared in the olden days, and how work mates became teammates as they discovered a love of the game. Relax on board the bus, while our professional tour guides share the extensively researched story of the early history of Hearts. Allows us to escort you through an unforgettable experience filled with fun and facts and football! This is an unmissable exploration of the history of the Heart of Midlothian intertwined with the sights of the beautiful city of Edinburgh. PICK UP AND DROP OFF The Coach will be situated at McLeod Street in front of the main stand for pick up, and the tour will end back at Tynecastle, with all visitors invited to the Club Museum to continue exploring the Club's history if desired. Accessibility Please note that the coaches used for the Heritage Trail do not have a wheelchair accessible ramp, and at 5 stops on the Trail, we disembark from the coach and walk through parts of Edinburgh and the Meadows. Please contact us if you have specific requirements, so that we can discuss options with you. Service dogs are welcome on board all of our Heritage Trail buses.
